The Negociant Eleveur Maison Hecht & Bannier, specializing in red wines from the South of France, came to light in 2002. Their goal is to have their wines become the reference for quality in the region with a unique range of appellation wines. They are convinced that Languedoc Roussillon, the most prized vineyard in France, has not yet received the international recognition that it deserves: their wines allow wine-lovers to discover the extraordinary quality and wealth of this region.
About WineCremant de Limoux is one of the oldest appellations for sparkling wines. In 1531, secondary within-bottle fermentation was discovered at Saint Hilaire’s Benedictine nursery, and the technique was eventually passed down to Champagne.
Tasting NotesMade from a blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and Mauzac, this elegant sparkling wine is fresh, creamy, and dry. Aromas of dried flowers, apricot, butter, brioche, and toast are detectable.
