About WineMerlot performs best in warm climates with a drastic shift in day to night temperatures. The enormous Sonoma Coast appellation provides many excellent sites for blending high quality Merlot. It is a blend of 83% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, and small quantities of Syrah, Malbec, Petite Syrah, Petite Verdot, and Cabernet Franc.
Tasting NotesThis medium-bodied, charming, plummy and graceful Merlot has soft, supple tannins and beautifully balanced finish. It it excellent by itself or with simple grilled chicken.
