Félix Solís, S.A. began its career in 1952, the year in which its founder, D. Félix Solís Fernández moved, along with his wife Leonor and their children, from his birthplace in Villanueva de los Infantes to Valdepeñas with the desire to establish a family winery thanks to the fame and quality of their wines.
The Solís family had a background in the wine trade since the nineteenth century through the Camino Real, linking Madrid and Andalusia. From the first elaborations in the "Casa del Cura del Huerto", the winery has never ceased to grow. The partnership with winemaker Domingo Maroto in the 60s allowed Félix Solís to bottle in Madrid quality wines that were traditionally marketed in skins or large tanks, giving them an added value that thousands of bars and restaurants appreciated.
Given the need to elaborate and bottle at source, following the creation of CRDO Valdepeñas in 1968, the current winery was built in the 70s, while obtaining important exports results and consolidating logistics and commercial structures, both in Spain and in different parts of the world.
このワインについてWine of harvest limited, elaborated with a 85 percent of Tempranillo grapes of the property of Albali Vine and with a 15 percent of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, also of the property of the same name. The grapes are collected by hand and at night, in the way to save the high temperatures that are registered during the day.
コメントIn nose, it displays a great aromatic load, with a diversity of shades that confer complexity to him, emphasizing leather aromas, cacao and spices; whereas in mouth he’s smooth, but corpulent, flavorful and long, with a average-long tannic intensity, that augurs one long life in bottle.
