1998 Chateau de Blissa

Chateau de Blissa is located in the town of Bayon, one of the highest points of the region and known for excellent locally made wines.
The Chateau farms ​​12 hectares, of which 10 hectares are planted with vines. This vineyard is located on the first slopes of Bourg, on a clay soil generally Calaire, sometimes a little gritty, planted with grape varieties such as Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The estate produces one of the most esteemed wines of Bourg, distinguished by its smoothness.

Maturation is done in small cement tanks for 18 months on average, depending on the vintage, which allows the selection and identification of grape varieties and terroirs. Some high quality lots of wine are aged in French oak barrels for 16 to 20 months. Blending is carried out in early spring following the harvest.
