About iwine.jp Points

iwine.jp Point Types

iwine.jp Points System is a reward-based points system that is designed to give users the ability to earn points on their wine purchases at iwine.jp. Most wines sold on iwine.jp will carry reward points, calculated based on the percentage of the selling price of that item. All points earned on iwine.jp can be used on future wine purchases at iwine.jp, whereby 1 point = 1 yen. There are four different types of point classes available, all with different expiration dates.

Standard Points

About iwine.jp Standard Points

The majority of wines sold on iwine.jp are assigned this point class, where you can earn 1% of the total selling price back in points. The points you earn can then be used on your next purchase on iwine.jp at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen.

For Example:
  • You can earn 15 Standard Points back on a wine on sale for 1,500 @ 1% Points.
  • You can earn 100 Standard Points back on a wine on sale for 10,000 @ 1% Points.

All wines with Standard Points can be easily identified with the following icon :

Expiration Date for iwine.jp Standard Points

  • Standard Points expire 365 days after your last purchase on iwine.jp.
  • The expiration date for Standard Points can be extended for 365 more days, provided that you make another purchase before existing Standard Points expire.
  • If Standard Points are not used or if you do not make a purchase withing 365 days, you forfeit all points in your account.

The Fine Print

  • All Standard Points can be used for purchase at 1 point = 1 yen.
  • Points may not be used to purchase event tickets.
  • Event ticket purchase does not qualify as a purchase to extend your Standard Points expiration date.
  • Points cannot be earned when a purchase is made using a coupon code.

About our Special Reward Points

Time-Sensitive Special Reward Points

Unlike our Standard Points, which are set at 1% of the selling price, our Special Points offer more points back with shorter expiration dates. There are three types of Special Points available on iwine.jp; the Super30, Super60, and Super90. As with our Standard Points, all Special Points can be used on your next purcahse on iwine.jp at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen. By default, all Special Points with the closest expiration date must be used first, before any Standard Points can be accessed or used.

Types of Special Reward Points

The following is a detailed explanation of our Special Reward Points

Type 1:

Super 90 Points 2% to 3% Expires 90 Days After the Date of Purchase

All wines with a point-back rate of 2% to 3% belong to the Super 90 Points category. The Super 90 Points can be used on your next purcahse on iwine.jp at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen.

For Example:
  • You can earn 30 Super 90 Points back on a wine on sale for 1,500 @ 2% Points.
  • You can earn 300 Super 90 Points back on a wine on sale for 10,000 @ 3% Points.

All wines with Super 90 Points can be easily identified with the following icon :

Expiration Date

  • The Super 90 Points exipres 90 days after the date of purchase.
  • The expiration date for Super 90 Points can not be extended or refreshed.

 

Type 2:

Super 60 Points 4% to 5% Expires 60 Days After the Date of Purchase

All wines with a point-back rate of 4% to 5% belong to the Super 60 Points category. The Super 60 Points can be used on your next purcahse on iwine.jp at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen.

For Example:
  • You can earn 60 Super 60 Points back on a wine on sale for 1,500 @ 4% Points.
  • You can earn 500 Super 60 Points back on a wine on sale for 10,000 @ 5% Points.

All wines with Super 60 Points can be easily identified with the following icon :

Expiration Date

  • The Super 60 Points exipres 60 days after the date of purchase.
  • The expiration date for Super 60 Points can not be extended or refreshed.

 

Type 3:

Super 30 Points 10% to 20% Expires 30 Days After the Date of Purchase

All wines with a point-back rate of 10% to 20% belong to the Super 30 Points category. The Super 30 Points can be used on your next purcahse on iwine.jp at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen.

For Example:
  • You can earn 150 Super 30 Points back on a wine on sale for 1,500 @ 10% Points.
  • You can earn 2,000 Super 30 Points back on a wine on sale for 10,000 @ 20% Points.

All wines with Super 30 Points can be easily identified with the following icon :

Expiration Date

  • The Super 30 Points exipres 30 days after the date of purchase.
  • The expiration date for Super 30 Points can not be extended or refreshed.

 

The Fine Print

  • All Special Reward Points can be used for purchase at 1 point = 1 yen.
  • Points may not be used to purchase event tickets.
  • Points cannot be earned when a purchase is made using a coupon code.
